[DE] Bis Januar 2019 ehrte Yad Vashem 6.992 Polen als „Gerechte unter den Völkern“ – damit stellt Polen unter allen Nationen die meisten Gerechten. Zu diesen Rettern gehören Jarosława Wołosiańska und ihr Ehemann Izydor. 22 Monate lang riskierten sie ihr Leben und das ihrer kleinen Tochter Ania, indem sie Juden in ihrem Keller versteckten. Es wurden ständig mehr: am Ende waren es 39 jüdische Mitbürger, die durch sie gerettet wurden.

[PL] Do stycznia 2019 r. Yad Vashem uhonorowało 6 992 Polaków jako „Sprawiedliwych wśród Narodów Świata“ – Polska reprezentuje zatem największą grupę Sprawiedliwych wśród wszystkich narodów. Pośród nich są Jarosława Wołosiańska i jej mąż Izydor. Przez 22 miesiące ryzykowali życiem swoim i małej córki Ani ukrywając Żydów w swojej piwnicy. W miarę upływu czasu było ich tam coraz więcej: ostatecznie uratowali 39 obywateli żydowskich. Jarosława, żyjąc w ciągłym lęku o życie, zapłaciła długotrwałą głęboką depresją wysoką cenę za tę pomoc.
